2005 Louisiana Survey Post-Hurricane Community Audit

Results of a new study funded by LSU's Reilly Center for Media and Public Affairs shows that Louisiana residents are most concerned about the displacement of the state's residents, closely followed by their concern for rebuilding New Orleans. When asked who should foot the bill for rebuilding, a majority of residents said it is the federal government's responsibility. Residents also gave high marks to religious and non-profit organizations for effective response post hurricane Katrina.
The study, conducted by PPRL from Nov. 3 through Nov. 18, is based on telephone interviews with 653 randomly selected adult Louisiana residents.
The survey has a margin of error of +/- 3.9 percent and and was sponsored by the Manship School of Mass Communication's Reilly Center for Media & Public Affairs.

2005 Louisiana Survey

This is the third in a series of annual Louisiana Surveys designed to establish benchmarks and assess progress and regressions in residents' assessments of state government services. The survey is a telephone survey of 964 randomly selected Louisiana residents 18 years or older. It includes several split-ballot questions in which approximately half of the respondents were asked a particular series of questions, while the other half of the respondents were asked a different series of questions. The approximate margin of error for the overall survey is 3.2 percent and 4.6 percent for split-ballot questions.

2004 Louisiana Business Image Survey

This Louisiana Business Image Survey was designed to serve as a tool in state business recruitment efforts by collecting information from non-Louisiana businesses on the importance of various factors in location decisions, evaluations of Louisiana as a place to conduct business, and the sources of information used to by businesses in location decisions and for news about business developments and trends.

2004 Louisiana Survey

This is the second in a series of annual Louisiana Surveys designed to establish benchmarks and assess progress and regressions in resident assessments of state government services. The survey is a telephone survey of 1,022 randomly selected Louisiana residents 18 years or older conducted from January 29 to March 5, 2004. It includes several split ballot questions in which approximately half of the respondents were asked a particular series of questions, while another half of the respondents were asked a different series questions. The approximate margin of error for the overall survey is 3.1 percent and is 4.4 percent for split ballot questions.
